Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Squadrum collects when contractors use our software and when homeowners send project requests through a Squadrum quote form, and how that information is used and protected.

1. Information we collect

From Contractors: company name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), phone, city, state, service area, logo, brand color, services and prices, and billing details. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by Squadrum.

From Homeowners: the photos you upload, your project description and answers (service, size, timeline, budget), and your name, phone, email, city and ZIP code.

Automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention (for example rate limits) and to keep the service working. We use only essential cookies to keep Contractors signed in; we do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

To deliver Homeowner requests to the Contractor the Homeowner chose; to run AI analysis that produces a preliminary scope, price range and notes for that Contractor; to generate optional AI illustrations of a finished space; to send service emails (new-lead alerts, email confirmation, password resets and, where offered, a copy of a Homeowner's preview); to process subscription payments; and to secure, maintain and improve Squadrum.

3. AI processing

Photos and answers are sent to third-party AI providers to produce the analysis and any preview images. AI price ranges are preliminary estimates, not quotes, and "after" images are AI-generated illustrations, not guarantees of final results. We do not sell your information or allow it to be used to advertise to you.

4. How information is shared

Homeowner requests are shared only with the Contractor whose form was used. That Contractor is responsible for how they use your information to contact you.

We use service providers to operate Squadrum, including cloud hosting and file storage, AI model providers, an email delivery provider and Stripe for payments. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

5. Data retention

Contractor account data is kept while the account is active. Homeowner requests and photos are kept while the Contractor's account is active so the Contractor can manage the lead, unless deletion is requested. Security logs and rate-limit records are kept for short periods.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls so a Contractor can only see their own leads, and rate limits against abuse. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by contacting us. Homeowners may also contact the Contractor directly. Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

8. Children

Squadrum is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above; material changes will be communicated to Contractors by email or in the app.

10. Contact
